Daily Activities
We have weekly themed toddler and preschool activities for ages 2 and up, where the children will learn their letters, shapes, colors, etc. They will come home with a packet every week with all of the fun crafts and activities they have been working on. We also read books, sing songs, and play educational games as well. We take a break from the curriculum during summer-time for fun field trips and crafts.
Activities
Field Trips
On occasion during the school year we will go on an educational field trip that coincides with the preschool theme. The parent is required to pay the nominal fee for all field trips. Park outings are also taken on occasion as well. During the summer, field trips are more of a "Fun" theme, rather than educational. We also have special summer days like "Backyard Fun Day" where we'll have an obstacle course or a Bounce House, and "Arts and Crafts Day" where they get to do extra special projects, or "Water Day" with kiddie pools and sprinklers / water tables.
Extra Activities
We celebrate every child's birthday with cupcakes and a present. We also have an annual Christmas party for the daycare families where the children will sing Christmas songs for the Parents, enjoy a yummy dinner together, open Gifts, as well as watch the annual Daycare DVD with photos of our adventures!
